On June 25th and 26th, we had the privilege of participating in the 8th Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA) Africa Regional Conference, held at the Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos, Nigeria. The conference brought together leaders, policymakers, professionals, and innovators from across Africa’s maritime, trade, logistics, energy and blue economy sectors to engage in meaningful conversations about the future of the continent’s economic and industrial development.
This year’s conference, hosted by WISTA Nigeria under the theme, “From Policy to Progress,” focused on a critical question facing many sectors across Africa: how do we move beyond dialogue and translate ambition into tangible outcomes?
As a company committed to expanding access to cleaner energy solutions across Nigeria, participating in platforms such as the WISTA Africa Regional Conference is essential. The conference provided a valuable opportunity for us to build new connections and engage with stakeholders from the maritime, logistics and shipping industries as we prepare to advance in the sector.
