Asiko Supports Decade of Gas Initiative, Donates 100 Lite Gas Cylinders

Asiko, through its subsidiary Gas Terminalling, supported this year’s Southwest LPG Penetration Initiative event in Lagos – a project that is part of the Federal Government’s Decade of Gas mission to distribute 1,000,000 LPG cylinders across Nigeria by 2030, promoting cleaner energy solutions.

As part of our company’s commitment to improving LPG availability, adoption and utilisation, we supported the Lagos edition with 100 units of 6.25kg Lite Gas cylinders, which were distributed by the Honourable Minister for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo.

We also carried out a detailed training on the correct techniques required for safe handling of LPG cylinders. This training was conducted at both the Lagos and Uyo events.

Some of the dignitaries at the Decade of gas event were former Deputy Governor of Lagos state, Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, Minister for Petroleum Resources (gas). Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, representatives from Women in Energy Oil and Gas, representatives  from NLPGA and more.
