Asiko Energy breaks ground on tri-product (Propane, LPG, LNG) project in Ijora

In line with Asiko Energy’s drive to increase gas availability, accessibility, adoption, and utilisation in the country, we formally commissioned the construction of our tri-product (Propane, LPG, LNG) terminal in Ijora.

The ground-breaking ceremony, which was held in December 2021 brought forth the start of a new dawn for us. The project, which comprises a fully-mounded Propane-rated 5,000MT storage facility and a 30,000CuM fully-contained Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) in-land terminal, is set to be completed in June 2023 alongside the completion of the first phase of our LNG terminal.

Upon launch, the terminal will be well-positioned to receive, store and distribute gas products to the populace.

According to Felix Ekundayo; MD Asiko Energy, “the project is the culmination of several years of dedication and hard work by our Company.”

Since we began operations 15 years ago, it has always been our goal to become Nigeria’s most preferred gas and clean energy provider in Nigeria. Today, with this project, we are one step closer to it.
