Earlier this month, our MD Felix Ekundayo, alongside our CCO, Abubakar Folami, attended the official launch of the Eko for Gas Scheme Report by the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry -LPG GROUP.
As a clean energy company, we are always happy to support initiatives that boost Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) adoption and utilisation.
The Eko for Gas Scheme was executed to sensitise roadside food vendors dependent on firewood and coal to switch to gas usage. The initiative, which took place across 5 LCDAs in Lagos state, also equipped beneficiaries with gas cylinders and industrial burners for a seamless transition.
The scheme started from May 27th to July 22nd, 2022, within Lagos State, namely Sura Market in Lagos Island East, Oja-Oba, Agboyin Ketu Market, Igando-Ikotun Egbe Market, Ikorodu North and Agbado-Oke Odo Unity Market.
