Asiko Energy and WINLPG host maiden edition of Secondary School LPG Advocacy Project

The Women in LPG (WINLPG) Nigeria Chapter, had the maiden edition of their Secondary School LPG Advocacy Project, geared towards increased awareness of LPG and its uses among secondary school students. The project also aims at demonstrating how LPG use can help attain some of the sustainable development goals,. This campaign was held at the Herbert Macauley Girls Secondary School, Sabo Yaba. Oyindamola Ogunjide and Sebilat Adigun of Asiko Energy, together with other members of WINLPG Nigeria chapter, were on hand to educate the young girls on the safe use of LPG, its abundance in Nigeria, and its ability to meet some of the SDGs such as Good health and wellbeing (SDG 3), affordable energy (SDG 7), industry, innovation and infrastructure (SDG 9) and combat climate change (SDG13). The use of Asiko’s instantaneous LPG fired water heater was demonstrated to the girls. The tankless water heater, which is able to raise the temperature of water by about 25 degrees Celsius with just the turn of a faucet was introduced to the girls as a sustainable source of hot water for domestic and industrial use. Kudos to the hashtag#Winlpg. Well done ladies!!!hashtag#thinkglobalactlocalhashtag#howcanLPGmakemylagosbetter
